I'd agree with the comments above. Give it two hours at least, as there's bound to be several things that catch your interest - whether you're a military buff, sports fan, or something in between. If you're making a day of it, and getting there early (especially if it's a family outing) the Science museum is across the street as well (and has a cafeteria).
