Jurors in Sean "Diddy" Combs' federal sex-crimes trial saw photos of Kid Cudi's destroyed Porsche after the alleged explosion.

Kid Cudi tells the trial that the last time he saw Cassie Ventura was back in 2012, along with Sean Combs at SoHo House in Hollywood. This happened after the Porsche Molotov cocktail incident. He tells the court Combs was calm in a way that was off-putting and weird, and he offered him water twice.

The road to this criminal trial began with a civil suit filed in November 2023 by Cassie against Diddys alleging rape and sexual abuse. Though settled a day later, her initial complaint contained an allegation that Diddy had threatened to blow up Cudi's car, and that later the car "exploded in [Cudi's] driveway."
