Republicans made a number of last-minute changes to the legislation that passed in the lower chamber early Thursday.

After weeks of internal GOP wrangling, the Republican-led House early Thursday passed the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act," critical to advancing President Donald Trump's tax and immigration agenda. A smiling Speaker Mike Johnson announced the massive measure passed by a single vote -- 215-214 -- and was greeted with applause.
