Mikel Arteta believes Myles Lewis-Skelly ’s long-term future at Arsenal could be in midfield - despite earning an England call-up for his performances at left-back. Lewis-Skelly has broken into the Arsenal first team this season and his displays led to Thomas Tuchel naming the 18-year-old in his first England squad on Friday morning.

Skelly’s rapid rise has taken another huge leap, his first senior England call-up at 18 years old. The Arsenal youngster, who only made his debut in September, has been named in Thomas Tuchel’s squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Albania and Latvia later this month.
