President Trump has pardoned a billionaire cryptocurrency exchange founder who pleaded guilty to a money laundering-related charge, claiming the man was a victim of political prosecution by the Biden administration.

Changpeng Zhao, founder of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance, has been pardoned by US President Donald Trump.

Leavitt also quipped Zhao's pardon was a loud-and-clear signal about the former administration's "War on Crypto" being over.
