All things to hype Wolf Pack fans up, and for most of this game, it looked like Nevada had a fair shot of taking down the Broncos. But the offense couldn’t provide answers, and with a five turnover night, it ended in a sour 24-3 loss. Nevada now has the most turnovers in the nation with 21.
Maddux Madsen, Sire Gaines and Dylan Riley had touchdown runs and Boise State beat Nevada 24-3. Madsen completed 15 of 28 passes for 174 yards with an interception for Boise State (6-2, 4-0 Mountain West Conference).
Nevada had five turnovers, Boise State had one. Nevada committed eight penalties for 73 yards, Boise committed two for 10 yards. Nevada muffed a punt deep in its own territory, threw three back-breaking interceptions on offense, dropped multiple interceptions on defense, and had some questionable play calling moments.
The Wolf Pack have one win, against an FCS program, and rank among the nation’s worst offensively. A freshman QB is trying to change that.
