According to a new story from ESPN, the WNBA has offered to buy the Connecticut Sun and move them to a market of their choosing.

ESPN also reports that the Mohegan Tribe is “frustrated” and feels the league has become “antagonistic” about the sale process after declining an early bid from Cleveland, one of the WNBA’s preferred destinations for a new team.

Nearly two weeks after the initial reports, however, various roadblocks have appeared, indicating Boston's chance at the WNBA may not be coming as soon as initially believed.
