President Trump says Coca-Cola executives have agreed to return real cane sugar to sweeten their U.S. products. Coke has not confirmed the switch, but says "more details of innovative offerings" will be shared soon.
In a post on Truth Social, President Donald Trump said that Coca-Cola has agreed to use real cane sugar in U.S. production of the soda. Coca-Cola in the U.S. currently uses high-fructose corn syrup as its primary sweetener.
According to Instagram influencer snachwithzach, Coca-Cola Starlight is coming back in a full-sugar variety. “This is a developing story but it looks like we could see this as soon as August in a very limited capacity. As far as we know there won’t be a zero,” he says.
