Dollywood’s owner, Herscend Family Entertainment has signed an agreement that will acquire all of Palace Entertainment’s U.S. entertainment properties, including Kennywood and more than 20 other venues across 10 states.

Attractions in the deal include Castle Park in Riverside and Raging Waters in San Dimas, as well as Boomers in Palm Springs and Vista.

Atlanta-based Herschend Family Entertainmeny Palace Entertainment, best known as the operator of Dollywood, purchased Wet ' Wild Emerald Point in Greensboro and 17 other entertainment venues in 10 states Madrid-based Parques Reunidos Group. Pittsburgh-based Palace, a subsidiary of Parques Reunidos, operated the venues.

Adventureland, along with all of its parent company's attractions, will be sold to Herschend, a family-owned operator of themed attractions.
