Trish Stratus accepted Tiffany Stratton's challenge to a WWE women's title match at Evolution. Stratton said she was looking forward to facing Jade Cargill at SummerSlam, but also wanted to defend her title at Evolution, calling out Stratus, who was happy to accept the opportunity.

Drew McIntyre is officially back, and ready to send a message to anyone. During Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown, McIntyre returned for the first time since his Steel Cage Match loss to Damian Priest at Saturday Night’s Main Event in May.

"WWE SmackDown" finished off the company's week in Pittsburgh with some Fourth of July fireworks. This show was all about tag-team action, as it exclusively featured multi-person matches.
