The Eagles are 9-5, and back into the winners' circle after a 31-0 shutout win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday afternoon. Philadelphia still has two NFC East contests remaining, but a Dallas loss to Minnesota would all but wrap up back-to-back division titles.
In the second half, the Dallas defense stepped up, pitching a shutout against Philadelphia. The Eagles, who once led 21-0, ended up losing 24-21 as Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey walked them off with a 42-yard field goal. After allowing 21 straight points, Dallas scored 24 unanswered points to pick up the huge victory.
Now the 49ers are on the upswing and the Eagles look as if they’re lost again. They lead the NFC East, but have gone from 8-2 to 8-5, giving up 575 yards in the three losses. Hurts is spewing turnovers, and had two on one play (an interception and a lost fumble) on the same play in a 22-19 overtime loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.
