Alaska Airlines was working Oct. 24 to recover from a computer problem that led to hundreds of flight cancellations and continued disruptions.

All Alaska Airlines flights were grounded Thursday night as the airline worked to address an information technology problem, the Federal Aviation Administration said.

“Alaska Airlines is experiencing an IT outage affecting operations. A temporary ground stop is in place. We apologize for the inconvenience,” the airline said in a statement posted on social media.
