Non-oil sector grew Nigeria’s GDP by 3.84% in Q4 2024 — NBS
The non-oil sector grew Nigeria’s Gross Domestic Product, GDP, by 3.84 percent year-on-year in real terms in the fourth quarter of 2024. This is according to the National Bureau of Statistics fourth quarter GDP report released on Tuesday.

Nigeria’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew by 3.4 percent in 2024 representing a 0.66 percentage point   year-on-year( YoY) growth when compared to 2.74 percent recorded in 2023.

The Bureau stated that the performance of the GDP in the fourth quarter of 2024 was driven mainly by the Services sector, which recorded a growth of 5.37% and contributed 57.38% to the aggregate GDP.

NBS: Nigeria’s GDP Growth Hits 3.4% in 2024, Fastest Pace in Three Years
The macroeconomic data released on Tuesday by NBS showed that GDP grew by 3.84 per cent, year-on-year, in real terms in the fourth quarter of last year (Q4 2024). The performance represented 0.38 per cent increase compared to 3.46 per cent recorded in Q4 2023.
