Intel has pulled back the curtain on "Arrow Lake" mobile silicon in the U, H, and HX series for the new year, focusing on increased power profiles and less on AI. Plus: "Lunar Lake" gets vPro.

Intel's newly announced Core Ultra CPUs bring improved performance and AI capabilities to both laptops and desktops at CES this year.

Intel has been steadily losing share in the PC CPU market to Advanced Micro Devices over much of the past decade. In the laptop CPU market, Intel still held a 77.7% unit market share in the second quarter of 2024. However, that's down from more than 90% in 2016.
