Singer and actress Isa Rae is the latest celebrity to cut ties with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts after President Donald Trump took over as the venue's chairman.

In the latest shockwave to hit Washington’s premier performing arts institution, multi-hyphenate creator Issa Rae has pulled the plug on her upcoming Kennedy Center appearance following U.S. President Donald Trump’s installation as chair.

Issa Rae canceled her sold-out show at the Kennedy Center, scheduled for March 16, after news that President Donald Trump was elected chair by its board of directors.
