Major League Baseball’s all-time home run leader, Barry Bonds, needed 640 games to reach the 100-100 club and was 25 years and 353 days old when he reached the feat. Both of those marks Witt Jr. bested by reaching the accomplishment Tuesday.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Kansas City Royals won their fifth straight game after pulling away from the Texas Rangers late on Tuesday. In the midst of the win, Bobby Witt Jr. hit accomplished another milestone, hitting the 100th home run of his career to put the Royals up 5-2 and ice the game on a two-run blast.

Witt represents the new guard of multi-dimensional superstars. He finished runner-up to Aaron Judge for 2024 AL MVP and is a two-time all-star who won a Gold Glove last year. He has stolen at least 30 bases in each of his four MLB seasons while twice reaching 30 homers.
