UNLV fired Kevin Kruger this afternoon, bringing an end to his four-year tenure as head basketball coach and, likely, the Kruger family’s decades-long relationship with UNLV basketball.

UNLV fired basketball coach Kevin Kruger on Saturday. He led UNLV to its last Sweet 16 appearance as the team’s point guard and is the son of Hall of Famer Lon Kruger.
