The NFL is fining the Giants, Brian Daboll and Cam Skattebo a combined $315,000 for violating the league’s concussion protocol during the team’s Week 6 win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

The NFL levied three fines totaling $315,000 against the New York Giants on Friday for violating concussion protocol by peeking into a medical tent to check on injured quarterback Jaxson Dart during an in-game evaluation two weeks ago.

The NFL fined the Giants $200,000 for violating concussion protocol during their Week 6 win over the Eagles. Separately, Giants coach Brian Daboll was fined $100,000 and running back Cam Skattebo was also fined $15,

The NFL confirmed very steep fines for Brian Daboll, Cam Skattebo, and also the Giants after a controversial sequence involving Jaxson Dart in the game against the Eagles.

Amid two-plus seasons of losing football, the Brian Daboll era is in dire straits. The prevailing opinion has always been that the New York Giants head coach will retain his post if rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart impresses.
