A wind advisory was issued by the NWS Las Vegas NV on Thursday at 9 a.m. The advisory is for Eastern Mojave Desert, Including the Mojave National Preserve, Morongo Basin and Cadiz Basin.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch ahead of this weekend’s wintry mix of storms overnight Friday in our entire viewing area.

On Thursday at 3:27 a.m. a winter storm watch was issued by the NWS Wakefield VA valid from Friday 7 p.m. until Saturday 1 p.m. The watch is for Western Currituck and Eastern Currituck as well as Gates,

Northeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. Isolated gusts to 55 mph in the eastern portion anticipated for Central Ventura County Valleys until 2 p.m. Friday. The NWS states, "There could be a lull in the winds from late this afternoon through early this evening."

The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday in effect until 10 p.m. for Berkshire County.
