No.1 Aryna Sabalenka faces No. 2 Coco Gauff in the French Open final on Saturday with both women aiming to win the title for the first time. Gauff lost the 2022 French Open final at age 18 but the American beat Sabalenka in the 2023 U.

Gauff knocked off Sabalenka in a shocking upset in the 2023 U.S. Open final 2-6, 6-3, 6-2. This is Gauff’s first final since her triumph in New York. The 21-year-old did make a French Open final back in 2022, when she lost in straight sets to Świątek.

On the women's side, Aryna Sabalenka and Coco Gauff are set to battle it out for their first French Open crown. Sabalenka eliminated three-time reigning champion Iga Swiatek in the semifinals while Gauff took out hometown upstart Lois Boisson.
