Heavy rain inundated Texas, leaving about 150,000 customers without power. More severe weather, and possible flooding, is expected on Tuesday.
The National Weather Service has issued warnings about thunderstorms striking throughout Texas, which is forecast to continue into Thursday morning.
Isolated severe storms will be possible today (Monday) as well as Tuesday and Wednesday across Alabama. The weather service thinks that damaging wind gusts, hail and heavy rain will be the main concerns with any stronger storm that develops all three days.
Residents across Texas are facing severe and stormy conditions on Monday, though the worst of the weather will likely blow through central and southeast portions of the state this afternoon and evening.
