After falling in the semifinals of the Southeastern Conference tournament, the Tigers received good news on Selection Sunday, earning the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA tournament. That puts Auburn in the south region, facing either Alabama State or St. Francis (PA) in the first round. That game will be on Thursday.
