Hosts Switzerland began their women's Euro 2025 campaign with a 2-1 defeat by twice champions Norway on Wednesday despite dominating possession and chances. Swiss wing back Nadine Riesen netted off the near post midway through the first half after sustained pressure in the Group A clash.
