The Atlantic has released the unredacted attack plans shared in a group chat of senior Trump officials to which the magazine’s editor-in-chief was accidentally added.Jeffrey Goldberg’s initial bombshell story about being invited to the “Houthi PC small group” on the Signal messaging app withheld key details of what had been posted in the chat about U.

Jeffrey Goldberg had previously withheld sharing some of those messages over concerns that their content was too sensitive.

The app has no ads, does not track users' data, and does not store any metadata such as timestamps, internet addresses or group names so it can't give them up if asked. It is considered one of the most secure systems in the world. A company called Whisper Systems created two encrypted apps, RedPhone for voice calls and TextSecure for texting.
