The Rams earned a home playoff game by winning the NFC West in a tiebreaker against Seattle. "Adding Daniel Jones just gives [the Vikings] more insurance behind Sam Darnold," Benjamin said. "You never should feel bad about adding quarterback insurance. Daniel Jones is a guy that, at 27, he's got over 70 career starts, if you throw in a couple of playoff games."

On Wednesday, the Philadelphia Eagles added former Minnesota Vikings safety Lewis Cine to their active roster. He spent the regular season on the Buffalo Bills’ practice squad. Cine was Kwesi Adofo-Mensah’s first draft pick as Vikings GM in 2022.
