Alex Bregman is returning to the Red Sox roster before the All-Star break after all. Boston’s star third baseman is expected to be activated from the injured list during this weekend’s four-game series with the Tampa Bay Rays,

Bregman had an incredible tenure in Houston, securing two World Series championships and serving as an essential piece of eight consecutive playoff appearances from 2017–24. In his postseason career, he has hit 19 home runs, driven in 54 runs and maintained a .238 batting average in 99 games.
