LSU is targeting former All-American Kyle Williams as the Tigers' next defensive line coach, a source confirmed to The Daily Advertiser.

LSU finalized a three-year contract with new defensive line coach Kyle Williams that will put him among the highest-paid defensive line coaches in college football, according to a copy of the deal obtained Friday by The Advocate through a public-records request.

Kyle Williams was on the 2003 national championship team. His best season at LSU came in 2005 when he was named a second-team All-American and first-team All-SEC performer.
