Quarterback Mac Jones signed a two-year deal with the 49ers, who chose to draft Trey Lance with the third pick in 2021.

Mac Jones, who wanted an opportunity to work with coach Kyle Shanahan, has agreed to terms with the 49ers on a deal worth $7 million with $5 million guaranteed, sources said.
