Tottenham Hotspur's under-fire manager Ange Postecoglou finally had some better injury news as he confirmed defender Micky van de Ven will feature against IF Elfsborg on Thursday. The 23-year-old Netherlands international has been out of action since picking up a hamstring injury in Tottenham's 4-3 home loss against Chelsea early in December.

Ange Postecoglou says Micky van de Ven could return for Tottenham in Thursday’s Europa League tie against Elfsborg, while James Maddison is expected to be sidelined for between two and three with a calf injury.

Tottenham have confirmed that Micky van de Ven has returned to first-team training. The centre-back has been out with a hamstring injury he was forced off in the defeat to Chelsea in early December. Cristian Romero has also been unavailable for the same period and Spurs have struggled without their key defensive duo,

Queens Park Rangers sign Korean teenager Yang Min-Hyeok on loan from Tottenham Hotspur until the end of the season.

Tottenham striker Yang Min-hyeok is set to join QPR on loan until the end of the season. Yang, who arrived at Spurs this month from Korean club Gangwon FC, completed his medical with the Championship club earlier on Wednesday.

There are just a few days left in the January transfer window, and Tottenham Hotspur have plenty of work to do. The Lilywhites are on a woeful run of form, having won just once in their last 11 Premier League games.
