Jofra Archer’s wait for a Test return will extend another week after England named an unchanged XI to take on India in the second Test that gets under way at Edgbaston on Wednesday morning.

Jofra Archer misses the IND vs ENG 2nd Test at Edgbaston due to a family emergency, as England name an unchanged XI aiming to extend their series lead.

Archer has not played Test cricket since 2021 and will now push for a place in the side for the third Test against India after missing out at Edgbaston
