With the trade deadline around the corner, Kyle Dugger's name has made the rounds. How would he feel if he was dealt?
ESPN's Jeremy Fowler and Matt Bowen recently ranked the top 25 NFL trade candidates ahead of the November 4 trade deadline, and Dugger was ranked at No. 22 on the list. He was given a 25 percent chance of being moved before the deadline.
Dell Pettus would be next in line for snaps at safety this Sunday against the Browns. The Patriots also have safety/special teamer Brenden Schooler on their 53-man roster and Richie Grant on the practice squad. Grant, 27, was selected by the Falcons in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He’s started 33 of 67 career games.

Patriots game day roster: NFL Week 8 vs. Browns
The Patriots’ full game day roster for Sunday’s game looks as follows: Running back (4): Rhamondre Stevenson (38), TreVeyon Henderson (32), Jack Westover (37 | FB/TE), Terrell Jennings (26 | KR) Wide receiver (5): Kayshon Boutte (9), Stefon Diggs (8), Mack Hollins (13), DeMario Douglas (3), Kyle Williams (18)
However, the good news for the team is that starting safety Jaylinn Hawkins, who has missed the last two games with a hamstring injury, is officially active for the Week 8 matchup. They will need all hands on deck when facing a Browns team that is much better than their 2-5 record suggests.
