After years of progress, a mass shooting in Central Park Heights has shaken community confidence, keeping residents indoors and stalling the neighborhood’s revitalization efforts.

Residents in Baltimore's Park Heights community are still waiting for answers after a mass shooting Saturday night left one person dead and five others injured. A 38-year-old man was killed, and five others, including a 5-year-old girl, were injured in a mass shooting in the area of Spaulding and Queensbury avenues, according to police.

Police are investigating the shooting which occurred on North Mart Plaza that left eight people shot and one in critical condition.
