Marvel Rivals midseason patch is only a few days away, and recent news has caused controversy over NetEase Games' plans to implement a mid-rank reset.

Aside from adding new heroes and changing gameplay balance, NetEase also wants to shake up Marvel Rivals' Competitive mode. The first half of Season 1 will conclude on Feb. 21, after which all ranks will be locked in. Once the mid-season rolls in, some changes are on the way, though it's debatable whether they're good changes or not.
