At RR, he will collaborate with bowling coach Shane Bond, a former New Zealand pacer, who has been the franchise's bowling coach and with head coach Rahul Dravid. He had previously worked with Dravid when the latter was in-charge of the Indian team.

Former India international Sairaj Bahutule was appointed as Rajasthan Royals’ spin bowling coach, the Indian Premier League (IPL) outfit announced on Thursday.

Head coach Rahul Dravid hailed Sairaj's deep understanding of spin bowling and said that his extensive coaching experience will be an invaluable addition to the franchise.

Previously affiliated with the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru, the former India player will join the Royals as a spin bowling coach and will be in the dugout starting this season.
