The illustrious season of Oklahoma State wrestler Wyatt Hendrickson concluded with the Hodge Trophy, it was announced Monday.

Stillwater, OK – Wyatt Hendrickson’s storybook season is now complete. Hendrickson was named the Hodge Trophy winner given to the nations top D1 wrestler. It’s considered the Heisman Trophy of wrestling.

Hendrickson outpointed Penn State five-time NCAA champion Carter Starocci and Penn State’s Mitchell Mesenbrink, who won titles this season at 184 and 165, respectively. He had 30 first-place votes to Starocci’s 26 and Mesenbrink’s three.
