"There is a strong possibility that Hawaii will see impacts from Kiko in ~7 days. With that said, it's too early to tell what impacts will be felt (minor or moderate-major). Additionally, Kiko should weaken to a tropical storm by the time it approaches Hawaii."

Hurricane Kiko is strengthening over the Pacific and could bring heavy rain, flooding, strong winds and dangerous surf to Hawaii by the middle of next week, depending on its track and intensity.
