In Houston today (June 9), NASA will reveal the four-person Artemis 3 crew and provide a progress update about the mission, agency officials said on Tuesday evening (May 26).

When NASA announced the astronauts who would fly on Artemis III, the next mission in its return-to-the-moon efforts, it was striking to many that the crew consisted of four men and zero women.

Douglas, a Western Branch graduate, is one of four astronauts selected for the Artemis III mission, which will orbit the earth and test lunar landing capabilities for future missions.
