The Athletic's Fred Katz reported Wednesday night that the Houston Rockets' Kevin Durant deal with the Phoenix Suns could expand into a seven-team bonanza. The five other teams reported to be involved are the Atlanta Hawks, Brooklyn Nets, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers and Minnesota Timberwolves

The Los Angeles Lakers could potentially be involved in an NBA-record expanded deal of the Kevin Durant trade.

The Houston Rockets have been one of the busiest teams in the early portion of the NBA offseason, but they reportedly have plenty of work ahead of them that could include expanding the Kevin Durant trade.
