Tyrese Maxey did not make the cut for the NBA’s Eastern Conference All-Star reserves. After being named to his first All-Star Game last year, Maxey was not among the seven East reserves selected by the NBA’s head coaches. Those players were announced Thursday night as:

It was Philadelphia's second straight victory, and Maxey's tenth consecutive game with at least 25 points.

Tyrese Maxey just proved it is never too late to fanboy over veterans of the game, particularly, LeBron James. Despite being in the league for five years now, Maxey has kept a wish to himself.

Maxey, who has continued to take on a leadership role in Philadelphia, has had to battle through his first real losing experience in the NBA. The Sixers have not had these types of struggles in his first four seasons in the league and he has had to adjust to the losing while also being a leader for this Sixers team amid the injuries.
