A shooting in South Philadelphia has left one person dead and two others wounded on Thursday night, police said. The shooting happened in the area of 7th and Tree streets, which is just south of Snyder Avenue, around 9:30 p.m., according to police. The two people injured in the shooting were taken to the hospital, police said.

A suspect has been taken into custody after a shooting at a West Philadelphia grocery store Wednesday killed one teenager and injured another, the Philadelphia Police Department said. Officers responding to reports of gunfire around 2:15 p.m. inside a store on the 5400 block of Race Street found both boys suffering from gunshot wounds.

Police in Philadelphia are investigating three separate shooting incidents that happened Friday night into Saturday morning, which resulted in three men hospitalized.
