Oil prices edged higher on Thursday and hovered near one-month highs on concerns about global supply, but new U.S. tariffs and their expected effect on the world's economy limited gains.

Reliance Industries Ltd. closed 20.76% below its 52-week high of 1,608.95 rupees, which the company reached on July 8th.
