Southwest Airlines is now offering redeye flights to passengers. The Dallas-based airline announced that the first redeye flights touched down on Feb. 14. Southwest operates five redeye flights on the following routes:

The airline’s first five red-eyes took off February 13 from Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Phoenix and all landed in destinations east of the Mississippi River on Valentine’s Day, where passengers were greeted with gift bags and commemorative cards.

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is the most frequent route from Oakland Airport onboard Southwest’s 737-800 aircraft. Out of eight daily departures, up to four are operated by the 737-800 fleet. Southwest has a monopoly on this 90-minute flight where no other major airline operates the service.
