Mike Vrabel was believed to be a candidate for the Las Vegas Raiders’ vacant head coaching job. However, he was never interviewed by the organization because he reportedly told his former teammate—and Raiders minority owner—Tom Brady that he was going to New England, per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

Tom Brady and the Las Vegas Raiders were among the teams interested in hiring Mike Vrabel, but he told his former teammate not to bother because he was determined to land with the Patriots.

The New England Patriots officially have their new head coach, as they hired Mike Vrabel to come in and take things over on Sunday morning.
