CBS News Editor-in-Chief Bari Weiss is reportedly seeking to lure Salem Radio Network host Scott Jennings from CNN, multiple outlets

Bari Weiss is poised to revamp one of the nation’s most venerable down-the-middle news outlets, CBS News. The question is, will she be able to make money for corporate parent Paramount Skydance after doing so?

Fox News anchor Bret Baier addressed a report that CBS News editor-in-chief Bari Weiss expressed interest in him coming over to the network as she seeks to put her mark on the news division and CBS Evening News.

Weiss met with Jennings at the Tiffany Network's New York headquarters last week, according to the news site Semafor.

Weiss "surprised senior staff … when she asked a provocative question: Why does the country think you’re biased?” the New York Times reported.
