Michelle Trachtenberg, who starred in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Gossip Girl," died of diabetes complications at the age of 39, the medical examiner said.

Trachtenberg, who was known for "Gossip Girl," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Harriet the Spy," was found unconscious and unresponsive in her luxury apartment tower in Manhattan in February.

The "Ice Princess" and "Gossip Girl" star died from diabetes complications on Feb. 26, authorities have determined.
