Amazon will cut about 14,000 corporate jobs as the online retail giant ramps up spending on artificial intelligence while cutting costs elsewhere.

Amazon.com AMZN 1.49% announced job cuts of 14,000 workers Tuesday, a first move in layoffs that are expected to affect as many as 30,000 corporate jobs, according to people familiar with the matter.
