The Florida Highway Patrol arrested and charged a man after troopers say he fled from a traffic stop late Friday night.

A 16-year-old Spring Hill driver was charged with fleeing and possession of a firearm early Saturday morning after he tried to run from authorities, the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) stated.

St. Petersburg man survived an Interstate 275 crash early Saturday morning that threw him from the vehicle before it caught fire, authorities said.
