Ahead of the matchup against the Sun, head coach Stephanie White spoke out with a brief update about Clark. When asked if Clark would return at some point this season, White spoke out with honest hope. She started off with a three-word message on the situation.

“I’m like, ‘Holy (expletive),’” White said during the postgame press conference. “Especially the way that she fell and how she was holding herself and how much pain she was in, at the time it’s like, ‘crap.’ “And then you go down there, you see her, and it’s like OK, I just want her to calm down and be able to regroup.”
