The Los Angeles region is scrambling to fight back wildfires on multiple fronts, forcing over 100,000 to evacuate.

Multiple out-of-control wildfires are raging across greater Los Angeles, with at least five people killed, neighborhoods devoured and at least 130,000 people evacuated as firefighters struggle to contain the growing blazes.

As of 8:30 p.m. local time, the blaze, dubbed the Sunset Fire, consumed at least 50 acres and remains 0% contained, according to Cal Fire. Mandatory evacuations were issued for Laurel Canyon Boulevard on the west to Mulholland Drive on the north to 101 Freeway on the east down to Hollywood Boulevard on the south.
