Kelly sued Hegseth, the Pentagon, the Navy and Navy Secretary John Phelan on Jan. 12 in U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., in a bid to reverse the disciplinary actions taken by Hegseth, chiefly in response to Kelly’s participation in the Nov. 18 “illegal orders” video.
